What you should know before giving!!!

Giving is an act of worship: Giving is not merely a means to finance the church's activities; it is an integral part of our worship. When we give, we acknowledge God's sovereignty and express our devotion to Him (Psalm 96:8).

Give cheerfully: God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7). Giving should be done willingly and with a joyful heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion.

Give generously: The Bible encourages generosity in giving. We are to give in proportion to the blessings we have received (Deuteronomy 16:17). The New Testament also highlights the importance of sacrificial giving, as exemplified by the widow who gave her two small coins (Mark 12:41-44).

Give as a first fruit: Proverbs 3:9-10 instructs us to honor the Lord with the firstfruits of our labor. This principle emphasizes the importance of giving to God before meeting our own needs.

Give with a purpose: Our giving should be directed toward supporting the work of the Lord and advancing His kingdom. This includes supporting the church's mission, caring for the needy, and spreading the gospel (Acts 2:44-45).

God will bless those who give: The Bible promises that God will bless those who give generously. Luke 6:38 states, "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap." Malachi 3:10 also encourages bringing the whole tithe into the storehouse, promising that God will "throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."

Give in faith: Giving is an act of faith, trusting that God will provide for our needs. 2 Corinthians 8:3-4 speaks of believers who gave "beyond their ability" because of their faith in God.

Always Remember; Giving is an act of worship, an expression of gratitude, and a demonstration of our trust in God's provision.
